SUMO CHAMPION JOINS CSA (2006)
On October 15, 2006, Byambajav Ulambayar won the heavyweight
gold medal in the World Sumo Championships in Osaka, Japan,
going undefeated in his first attempt at the World's. “Byamba”
is now training with CSA members, in order to strengthen sumo
in the US. CSA brought Byamba and his training partner, Bayanbat
Davaadalai to Los Angeles, for an action sequence in the film
"Ocean's 13", and now the two sumo stars, both with
years of sumo experience in Japan and internationally, are helping
to develop sumo in Los Angeles. Their presence is certainly
an honor and a great boon.
