“John Wick Chapter 2” — Thunder Road Pictures (February, 2017 release):
Watch 600-pound YAMA (the “Sumo Assassin”) get into a fight with Keanu Reeves! This is serious.

“Zoolander 2” — Paramount Pictures (February, 2016 release):
We booked “YAMA”, the Heaviest Japanese Sumo Wrestler in History (600 pounds), to make a cameo in this comedy sequel.

“47 Ronin” -– Universal Pictures (December, 2013 release):
We booked and managed one of the supporting lead actors (a sumo-sized role), starring alongside Keanu Reeves, for this epic re-make of the Japanese classic.

“Ocean’s 13” — Warner Bros. (June, 2007 release):
Although the sumo scene in the film was severely trimmed, we actually brought over a dozen sumo wrestlers, from several states in the U.S., as well as from Japan and Mongolia, to star in the fight scenes and rituals. We worked on the entire sumo set, costuming, prop design, casting, choreography, and much more.

“Memoirs of a Geisha” — Columbia Pictures (December, 2005 release):
This acclaimed film features a dramatic sumo scene, with remarkable visuals. We are proud to have worked on the film with costuming, casting, choreography, technical advice, set construction, art department, translating, research, directing sumo wrestlers on set, procuring sumo gear, and more. Don’t miss the sumo interview with our staff on the “Memoirs of a Geisha” bonus DVD.

We have produced over 300 sumo exhibitions, demonstrations, lectures, and other live events in over 20 countries (6 continents) and 18 states throughout the U.S. Some exhibitions are performed in stadiums packed with 30,000 people, while other demonstrations are performed for small groups at private parties, corporate events, or black tie celebrations.
